Academic Facilities
“You cannot always build the future of your youth, But you can build your youth for the future” We believe that every child is unique. Each one has a different pace of learning, which needs to be discovered by the school. Therefore, Delhi Public School Jind strives to understand and fulfil the individual needs of each and every learner. We tickle the imagination of our children so that they can grasp faster. We encourage them to explore, experience, experiment and discover their own path. We provide them with a stimulating environment where love, affection and joy brings out the best in them. We have an education system that builds the character of its students and empowers them in all aspects of mental, physical, emotional, social and spritual growth.
“The man who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who can’t read them” – Mark Twain “Where textbooks open up a new world of adventure and evoke the joy of learning.” The total number of books for library is a whopping 10,000 with the number increasing with each passing day. The libraries have sections ranging from textbooks and reference books to fiction and general knowledge. Since the school aims at making learning a fun process, there is an assortment of books and magazines available on general topics and separate sections for hobby-related books, books on travel, animal care, short stories, drama, poetry, astrology and other topics.
Computer lab- The campus has 1 computer laboratories accessible to students during and after school hours with advanced infrastructure in terms of hardware and software to cater to the requirements of the students, teachers and the curriculum. We have also web facility in the school available to the faculty members and to the students. Enterprising students get a chance to gain familiarity with the Internet and are also able to do comprehensive research for their projects and presentations.
Sports Facilities
A well-maintained Activity Block provides the requisite extra-curricular blend in the pursuit of learning. Sprawling grounds invite students to ease the rush of blood in field and track through athletic and different team activities. Provision for training in different games is made available through expert coaching. A team of permanently employed competent Physical Education instructors helps tune the children into various physical education activities. Delhi Public School Jinds’s Sports Complex has facilities for cricket and football with designated grounds for each, along with basketball, lawn tennis, table tennis and badminton courts. It also comprises two grand swimming pools and skating ring. School is also providing Horse Riding facility to the students as well as teachers.
Recreational Facilties
“A child is like the potter’s clay which can be groomed and moulded in accordance to the desired shape.” With beautifully manicured lawns and state-of-the-art-infrastructure the school understands the needs of the present times where education goes beyond the mastering of the three R’s.
Music they say is the elixir for mind and soul. The music society of the School offers a full platter to choose from. From the calm and composed classical tunes produced during the orchestra to the swashbuckling guitar riffs and loud yet rhythmic drums, a student can pick any instrument, genre or style depending to his taste or ambition. They play orchestra thrice a week in the school assembly. They perform orchestra on special Astachals. The society also takes part in competitions and cultural meets. The society is not just secluded to playing instruments. Solo and group singing is also encouraged trade. There are teachers who specialize in this art to guide the students to achieve what they look for.
Children are taught to appreciate dance by a team of dedicated and talented teachers of melody and rhythm. The fundamentals of various dance forms are also taught to students who have a passion towards dancing by Indian & Western dance teachers.
Transport Facility
Transportation Services provides a valued service to our customers as efficiently, effectively and safely as possible. Children can’t learn if they don’t get to and from school in a safe and timely manner. That’s why DPS Jind Transportation Services Department comes in. Transportation Services oversees the safe delivery of all the students to and from school, throughout the year.
There are presently 15 AC buses in the DPS fleet. They have covered a long distance safely and soundly this year which shows a positive consequence. Our transportation department includes bus drivers, mechanics, administrators and clerical staff. Under the supervision of the concerned authorities the trained staff drives students from NARWANA, JULANA, SAFIDON, ALEWA, JIND and all the areas falling in the route.
Students can procure the school transport facility subject to availability of seats. The routes of the buses are drawn up and the parents should consult the school transport in charge for necessary details.
- Bus fees are to be deposited as per the fee schedule for the whole session (i.e. 12 months).
- The school will not accept any notice for discontinuation of bus facility in the mid session.
